Hannah Baldwin has received a postgraduate teaching prize for a Latin verb program.

PhD student Hannah Baldwin has been awarded a postgraduate teaching prize for her work on the Verbinator. It is a simple java program which provides a random English translation for a Latin verb which students then build by selecting the correct vowel and ending from the available options. The program has been used on the Beginners Latin course to provide near-endless independent practice of forming and analysing present tense Latin verbs, as well as providing an immersive way to learn verb endings. The Verbinator is freely available online here.
