Musical Authorship from Schütz to Bach
This British Academy Mid-Career Fellowship, held by Stephen Rose in 2015–16, enabled work on his monograph Musical Authorship from Schütz to Bach (Cambridge University Press, 2019). The project also included a study day and mini-exhibition ‘Musicians, publishers, pirates of the mid Baroque’ at the British Library (June 2016).
