On December 7-8, the Economics Department hosted an ESRC-sponsored research workshop on Health and Socio-Emotional Development at Senate House.

Two days of inspiring talks covered topics such as how treating mental health conditions can improve labour market outcomes, the effect of a large macroeconomic shock on socio-emotional development, the effect of diagnosing ADHD whilst in prison, and the effect of an intervention to raise aspirations among women on the incidence of domestic abuse.
