They are the fastest animal on our planet, reaching speeds of up to 200 miles per hour, and Royal Holloway is lucky to have two nesting at our Egham campus.
Royal Holloway has been home to peregrine falcons for many years, but this is the first time we have live streamed their activity, enabling our Biological Sciences department to learn more about these incredible birds of prey.
Subscribe to our dedicated YouTube channel @RoyalHollowayPeregrines and receive notifications as and when new videos are uploaded of peregrine activity.
Protecting our climate and biodiversity is an area of strength in Royal Holloway’s RH2030s strategy.
Please note, this webcam shows live footage of wild peregrine falcons. These birds are predators and as such there may be scenes of hunting and eating, or other images that you may find disturbing. We are unable to intervene in the event of any natural issues with the birds and as such we may switch the stream off if we deem it necessary.
